It’s already been a week and a half since the new semester officially started. Classes are now in full swing, students are slowly recovering from syllabus shock, and homework is gradually piling up (as is the laundry!) In-between all the studying, the dorm drama, and the three-days-a-week hike up to the Caulkins Hall, it just might be time to relax off-campus for a couple hours. And what better way to do so, than to go watch what was one of the most anticipated movies of this past summer.
“The Amazing Spider-Man,” starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans, returned to the big screen this week at Northern Lights Theatre located a mere five miles away from Corban. The movie, directed by Marc Webb (“500 Days of Summer”), is set to be released on DVD, Blu-Ray, and Blu-Ray 3D, on November 9.
ASB Activities Coordinator and Hilltop’s Entertainment Editor, Jeff Morse, has compiled his top five reasons on why watching “The Amazing Spider-Man” is worth every penny.
