The reason we chose Corban
Students choose to attend Corban for different reasons – the Christ-centered environment, sports scholarships, or even because of the small student body. Four new students share their reasons on why Corban was their final choice.
Open dorm hours called into question
Up until just three years ago, Corban rarely allowed open dorms, though some students still complain about the limited hours in place today. Currently, the rule is dorms are open to opposite genders from 5-10pm on Fridays.
Down in Africa
A group of business majors — Jordan Keck, Ben Funkhouser, Kevin Straw, and professor Eric Straw — returned on Feb. 12 from a two-week trip to Nairobi, Kenya to continue work on software that will provide a human resources management system for Bible Translation and Literacy (BTL), the Kenyan division of Wycliffe Bible Translation.
