Oh CCS/Reach credit! Our relationship is almost over! Yes, we have been together for four years, but time is not a reason to stay together. I am greatly looking forward to breaking up with you. I won’t give you the cliche excuse, “It’s me, not you.” No, it definitely is you. Sure, you introduced me to new people and events, but you always wanted more hours from me and you were constantly evaluating me. That is not how a relationship should be. I need to explore on my own. It’s been fun. We had our moments of spiritual growth, but sometimes you smelled of stray dogs and you were constantly making me take chapel quizzes to test our relationship. Too much pressure! Don’t get down — I know you will meet someone else. Probably a freshman who just can’t wait to get into the first relationship she sees at Corban!
Yours truly,
A disgruntled senior
