The fountain outside of the library has stopped.
It is said that humans rarely recognize what they have until it is gone. The sweet sound of rushing water provided by a small rock fountain is one of them.
So what happened to this fountain?
“The pump died,” said Brian Schmidt, director of information systems. He jokingly added in a commentator’s voice, “We’re winterizing.”
Actually, they were intending on winterizing but the broken pump happened first. With it being so cold out lately, who can blame the pump?
“This happens about every 2 years,” Schmidt assured.
The fountain will be fixed soon, but for now Corban just has a small pond outside the library steps. At least the frog heard there two nights ago is enjoying it.
