If you missed it last weekend, it’s not too late. Willamette University will be presenting their evening of dance- a dance concert set up by their theatre program that will include lots of original choreography. The show begins at 7:30 P.M. and lasts until 9:30 P.M. Admission for students is $8. The concert will begin at the same time on Sat. also.

If you like music, tonight Caleb Ray will be performing his CD release concert at the Salem First Church of the Nazarene. Not to mention the J-White band, made up of our very own Corbanites, will be starting the night with their own performance. The concert starts at 7:00 P.M. and the best part? It’s free.

If you’re looking to do a little bit of Christmas (or Thanksgiving) shopping before you head home then check out the Willamette Heritage Center- they’re hosting 2 markets this weekend. Both markets are free and offer a variety of different, handcrafted, and seasonal style gifts. However, the AAWO Holiday Market is located in the Dye House of the center and will be exclusively be offering products from the local Alpaca farms.

Speaking of shopping, if you’re planning on doing it you might as well do it this weekend at the Salem Center Mall. This weekend Santa is coming and with him will be his little helpers that will be giving away free gift cards, tote bags, Belgian chocolate, and other fun things. Santa’s helper will be located around the mall dressed in red or green aprons and Santa hats and will be giving away freebies as well as performing “random acts of kindness” from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. on Sat. and 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. on Sun.
