Just 20 minutes outside of Salem, Silverton will be hosting their “First Friday” event. Admission is free and there is live music, refreshments, and gallery showings. Shopping and dining areas will also be open late for the event.
The events lasts from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and is happening all throughout downtown Silverton.

If you’re into antiques and vintage- or you know someone who is- make sure to check out the Farmhouse Show this weekend for some pre-season shopping. Admission is free and there will be all types of vintage and rusty antiques. The venue is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fri. Nov. 1 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sat. Nov. 2.

Have you ever wanted to partake in one of those fancy dances you’ve seen played out in old movies? Well here’s your chance. This Saturday Salem Classical Fencing is hosting a Masquerade Ball as part of a fundraiser. There will be dancing, games, a light buffet, auctions and prizes, not to mention a magician and juggler for extra entertainment. The ball starts at 6:30 p.m. and will last until 10:30 p.m. Admission price for adults is $15.
