Come support the Italy Missions Team this Friday, April 22 at 7 p.m. as they raise funds to go on their mission trip this summer. The event will be held in the Psalm Center and will last about an hour.
“The concert is a way for us to show Corban what we are doing,” says Téleah Moss, an Italy Missions Team member. “[This is] a chance to raise money and get students involved, and an opportunity to praise God in a way that we seldom do – mime.” The team will be traveling to San, Lorenzo Italy to minister through mime performances and the evening will be an opportunity to meet the team and hear about their ministry plans.
The event is free, though it is a fundraiser so there will be an opportunity to donate during the evening. Cookies, candy and $2 raffle tickets will also be on sale. The raffle prize will be a $50 TOMS gift card.
“There have been many ups and downs but the team has worked together through it all,” explained team member, Lacy Ramirez. There have been a lot of setbacks throughout the planning time according to Ramirez. “The money will come in,” Ramirez stated confidently. She trusts that God will provide in His timing.
The evening will be an opportunity to hear the team members share their hearts and understand what the mission field will be like in San Lorenzo. “The night will be an opportunity to give spiritual and financial support,” said Ramirez.
Friday night will be a perfect time to support fellow students spread the good news.
