You make have heard the chatter around campus- murder is coming to Corban. But don’t worry, it’s all fun and games. The Utah Missions team will be hosting a murder mystery event in the Emitte Center from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This Q & A with mission team member Jenna Marie Harris should answer any questions you have.
What is the event?
A 1920s Murder Mystery where the guests will become characters, attempt to solve the crimes, learn all the secrets of other characters, and hopefully stay alive!
When and where is it?
In Schimmel (meet in the Emitte Center) this Sunday, February 16th at 7 pm.
How long is it expected to last?
7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (ish)
What can students expect if they go?
When they arrive, our hostess, Kaileen Korsten, will hand out the individual character packets for the individuals to peruse and learn the characters story, secrets, motives, etc. After everyone has arrived, Kaileen will explain the evening and what will take place. There will be plenty of surprises throughout the evening and the guests should be ready to sharpen their sleuthing skills! Besides the mystery, there will be refreshments, jazz music in the background, and a photobooth. It will be a grand time for all!
How much does it cost?
A mere $5!
What does the money help fund?
The spring break Utah Missions Trip.
How many spots are still open?
Currently 19 character spots remain. If people would like to be involved with the event but not
necessarily have a character part, they can still come too.
When is the last day to sign up?
We would like to have 30 people by Saturday, but we won’t turn anyone away.
