You’ve seen the posters around campus and you may have watched the video in chapel about this new event called “The Organizations Carnival.” It sounds fun, but is it really worth your time to go?
Well, there will be a rock wall, a dunk tank (no better time to dunk a professor), a water balloon challenge set up by the Health Club, popcorn, cotton candy, carnival games, hula dancing, acting, performances, face painting and specially made food.
“We’re having rice, pulled pork, macaroni salad, and fruit salad,” said Karen Ramos of the Pacific Islanders Club.
“I’m excited how all the organizations came together to create this event,” said current Student Organization Coordinator Kaitlyn Ragan. “It’s a chance to show that we, the organizations, can make some really cool things happen.”
“It’s a chance for the clubs to represent themselves, which is super important,” added David Holcomb, next year’s Student Organization Coordinator. “It’s a time for fun, food and fellowship.”
The Carnival is from 5-7 p.m. Tomorrow, Thursday April 14, in the Lumberjack Field.
