Yes! Skinny jeans on guys is a great idea. Before the females out there daresay that skinny jeans are only for them, let me remind them that jeans, and pants for that matter, were originally created for men to wear, not women. So please be open-minded and ultimately, if you don't like how something looks, don't look at it.
The skinny jeans in the picture look great, but I wear mine even tighter. Contrary to what many people think, they are very comfortable. The only discomfort comes from dealing with the narrow minds who might snicker, make a rude comment or stare.
And it's not just a trend for kids or teens either. As long as you feel young or you just choose to do your own thing, they make a cool wardrobe item.

Personally, as a guy, I wear skinny jeans simply because I'm too skinny to fit into most other brands; also, because of this I try to wear smaller shirts etc, that do not make me look like a box (since most stores like to supply a line of entirely wide tshirts). While some people enjoy that style, I prefer my shirts to actually fit my size...and it looks bizarre to wear more snug-fitting shirts and then wear loose jeans that have to be belted to fit. I find skinny jeans comfy, but they also look better (in my opinion) than the looser jeans (at least on skinnier people [probably where they get their name I guess lol]).

I disagree with the notion that warfare, violence and technological destruction is the "American path". To see those three things as essentially American is to disregard America's positive contributions to the world, but more importantly, to miss the fact that those three traits are common to humanity. Isolated tribes are no different. The idea that they live a peaceful existence in harmony with nature is a myth; they live in squalor, vulnerable to their environment (weather, disease, famine, etc), and they are just as prone to warfare, violence, and technological destruction (even if it's merely through stone arrowheads) as the rest of humanity.

Life in the western world is far from perfect, and it's nice to think that someone out there is getting it right. However, these tribes are just as lost as we are. They likely have some insights that we in the western world do not have, but they do not have some fundamental truth which allows them to live in harmony with nature, each other, or God. That truth is found in God's word.

The consequences for sin were separation from God, each other, and nature. Thus Pandora is not a reflection of the world as it is now, but the way things were in Eden. There is truth in the movie's contrast between the fallen world and Eden, but the lie is that Eden in all its harmony somehow still exists and that we can return to it. Eden is gone, and we won't ever find it again. But we have a promise that something even better is coming.
